Who we are
Millian Layers is a 3D printing studio run by Max Hamdi in Kingston upon Thames. [BUSINESS STRUCTURE, e.g. sole trader or company name and number]. Max is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@millianlayers.co.uk, [POSTAL ADDRESS].
What we collect
If you email us or book a call: your name, business, contact details, and the files and project details you send. For business outreach: the business details of people who work at the firms we contact, which can include your name, job title, business email address, business phone number and business postal address, plus notes of our contact with you (for example the date of an email, call or visit and what was said). We do not collect personal social media profiles, home addresses or personal mobile numbers.
Where we get it
For outreach, we take business details from public sources: company websites, the RIBA Find an Architect directory, Companies House, trade and business directories, and press articles. We do not buy contact lists.
Why we use it
To answer enquiries, quote and deliver work (contract). For outreach, our legitimate interest is telling relevant local businesses about Millian Layers' 3D printing services, where their published work suggests our services may be useful to them. We keep messages short and few, and we stop as soon as you ask. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business: our email provider [EMAIL PROVIDER], our website host [WEBSITE HOST] and, if you book a call, our booking tool [BOOKING TOOL] and Google Meet for the call. They handle data only on our instructions. How long we keep it

Your choices
You can object to direct marketing at any time and we will stop. You can also ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to other uses. Email hello@millianlayers.co.uk with "Remove me", reply "no thanks" to any message, or tell us by phone or in person, and we will add you to our do-not-contact list the same day.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please contact us first at the email or postal address above. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we will do. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
